Travel and Lanyards

Are you planning a trip this year? Are you and your family intending to go somewhere exotic or exciting? If you are, you should plan to bring along a few lanyards which will make things easier.

If you are planning to travel by car, a few lanyards for the children will make the trip easier. One of the things that children like to do is to play on their personal gaming systems. To reduce the chance of the system becoming lost or damaged while you are traveling have the child carry it on a lanyard. The gaming system can be attached to a cord using a cell phone loop if the system has a pull through hole. Alternatively, the system can be kept on the cord using a hook or a carbineer if it has some kind of covering. A lanyard pouch can be used to hold extra games and batteries.

Children like to have snacks with them in the car. To reduce the chances of these getting spilled in the vehicle you should prepare lanyard snack bags for each child. These bags will permit the child to eat their treats whenever they are hungry and will allow you to have more control over the kind of treat that the child is eating. A drink can also be carried on a cord. Bottles of water or refillable sports bottles can be carried on lanyards using a variety of different clasps.

Lanyards can also be used to have fun in the car. If you are going on a long trip, you can easily prepare a few in car games for the children which they can play in the car. One of the games is a counting game. Prior to leaving prepare a list of possible things that you might see while traveling. As you travel ask each child to place a mark next to the item.
